I bit the bullet and got me a meguiars v2 a couple weeks ago and while the 7" soft buff pads are doing their work, I need more BITE and some new products to keep me happy , and now im addicted to it too after watching the results.. what do you guys think of this?? I'm trying to do a white highlander that has like 3 panels done so far !! :)

Yes, add Duragloss #'s 601/501/105 and Aqua Wax. Excellent for white. Review this thread (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/products-guides/26536-combining-duragloss-601-105-501-a.html).

Just a warning; if you are expecting that Wolfgang sample to come you might call to ask first. I ordered one a couple orders back and it was out of stock.

Before buying a carnauba based wax, what color is your car? If it is white, I strongly second the duragloss suggestion. You want the most synthetic, reflective, polymer based product you can find on white. Nuba on white is nice and all, but a white reflection is better to me. Depends what you would like :)

Sorry for the bad picture, the light you see in the reflection was what I had to work with paired up with an iPhone.

That looks really really nice, was that process using ur signature(Meg's 105/Meg's 205/Menz 85RD) and then the duragloss??

Here is a picture of hows mine developing (only 3 panels done including the hood)

The Hood was done with Meguiars V2 DA , first step 3M Perfect it II rubbing compound , 2nd step with Meguiars SwirlX remover , then I did a pass of Klasse AIO and finally topped with Collinite 845 . This was done on my girlfriends house garage and its been raining ever since.... and now I ordered those new products to get into the detailing addiction :):buffing:

Great job so far! For my process the owner didn't want to pay or worry about a correction. My process:

Clay w/ Mothers clay
1oz. DG 601 to 4oz. DG 501 to deep clean paint - applied via PC XP speed 4 and green 5.5" ccs pad, haze, remove
1oz. DG 601 to 4oz. DG 105 applied by hand, haze, remove
Collinite 845 applied by hand, sit 15 minutes, remove
Final wipe down with DG Aqua Wax

I really wanted to hit it with Menzerna PO203, then follow with above process. The car is only a 2009 and is garage kept except during work hours.
