Did these two GT-R's today. Nothing extreme on them as those type of photo's will be sometime next month. As one is waiting on a new front bumper and the other is waiting on some open time to get it dropped off.

First one... just a wash, clay, wax and general interior...

Wash: AG Foam Gun w/ CG Citrous Wash'n'Gloss & Meguiars Hyper Wash Mix
Wheels: CG Diablo Wheel Gel w/ Microfiber Cloth & Boars Hair Brushes/Daytona Speed Brush
Clay: Pinn. Ultra
Wax: CG Concourse 50/50

Also this were you do not trust cheap detailers! I did the above car back in early may for full paint correction. Here is what it looked like before wax outside checking the paint.

Here is what it looks like 3 months later after getting washed once a week by the companys weekly detailer.

Remember cheap is never good when it comes to your paint.

That car is soooo bad ass, what a monster!! Great job!

Quick question about CG Citrous Wash'n'Gloss ... I would like to know if that soap will remove any wax or sealant already on the car ?
Thanks.

Depends on the dilution ratio.

That's a shame about the swirls. Aren't the GT-Rs known for having soft clear as well? That things going to be a mess in another couple months.

Yes its a great soap for stripping old waxes and sealants off paint. Also as stated by Irish all depends on the dilution rate.

They have a Hard Clear badge on the firewall but most out there and I even agree that they are soft clears. But yeah I told the owner it might need full correction again by the time it gets to me. But regardless it should not look in that bad of shape in only three months.

Yep these are great cars, very roomy insides and comfortable and has the power to back it.

Mike, how do you like the Diablo Gel Wheel Cleaner? I've been thinking about picking that up, or the Citrus Sticky Gel wheel cleaner from Chem Guys..I've heard mixed reviews on both? But it seems like for the price and dilution ratio they'd be a great deal...

Great job on both of those GT-R's :props: , too bad no one has a different kind besides black on black! I've seen about 6 different black/black GT-R's around ATL. Would love to see the deep red or white in person!

I wish i got to play with as many cool cars as you do. Most of the work i do is on low low end stuff, Like cobalts and focus's.

Please don't put the s2000 in the same category of the gtr and nsx !:props:

umm keywords, good looking. I wasnt talking about performance.. but a lot of people would probably agree that the S2000 is basically a street race car.

its pretty dam good in my opinion. Yeah everyone one I see or do is either White, Silver or Black...mainly black.

Have to start somewhere. Hell I still work on low end cars, to me it doesnt matter what you drive if you pay you get work.

Either you live around there or you have been there before. :props:

Why? I now a few S2k's here in GA that would out handle many GT-R's/NSX's and walk all over them in a straight line.

Then, all I have to say is that you must have bad driver in your area. Sure, there's might be a FEW EXCEPTION that put 50k in mod in their s2000. But, for 90% of the times, I can't believe a GTR with 480whp will be beat on a straight line vs. a 250whp s2k !
Look, my friend manage to put a 12.01 with his 20yr old Skyline GTR with 340whp.I'm sure a brand new one with 140whp more can easily put 11 sec. Even, in curve, the gtr with his 4wd can do A LOT of good things. Anyways.. who cares hen! It's a detailing forum here no ? haha

IMO, The nsx is the premium car of Honda, not the s2000. I would put the s2000 witht the miata.
