I have a quality boars hair wash brush and was wondering if using this is Ok on my finish or will it introduce small scratches in the paint. Should I ditch it for just a microfiber mit?

most boars hair brushes can be used on paint, and should be cared for properly and stored when not in use. That said, I prefer a mitt when possible as easier to feel surface imperfections, and fit into smaller areas. As with any tool, tread lightly and use properly.

If you do try it make sure you let it glide across the paint, don't scrub or put pressure on it. I'm with killer though, I would use a wash mitt way before a brush.

When it is warm outside I use a mitt or a microfiber wrapped wash sponge. During the winter I switch to my Boars Hair Brush, it works great for winter washing in the garage.
