For light oxidation removal and/or paint cleaning, which product is better? D151 or M205? Some light swirl removal would be nice as well.

Thanks.

D151 has more cut than M205. Both can finish down very nicely if used correctly. We'd have to see the extent of the oxidation/swirls to really recommend a product. But as far as cut goes D151>M205.
Also, D151 is an All-In-One product while M205 is not.

I say D151, but a test spot will give you the real answer.

To restate the obvious that cobalt has mention. If you don't want to add a sealant or wax in an additional step, use the 151. If time doesn't matter, use the 205 and add your choice of sealant or wax during the second step. I personally think the cut is pretty similar between the two products.

ziggo's links are showing that D151 is probably the most aggressive product Meguiars has that still finishes LSP ready.

The question is, can a product such as D151 be topped with Collinite 915 immediately. There's probably no question though, that one cannot top D151 with DP Poli-Coat or any sealant due to potential bonding issues.

Not necessarily, I have seen people using the KBM polish out harder clears using M105 and UC to a mirror finish with little if any micromarring (that'd be considered LSP ready unless you're doing an IPA wipedown). On something like soft Infiniti or Porsche paint..that might not go so well.

You can top it with 915 immediately. However, I have had mixed results with topping it immediately. It didn't like Natty's Blue when I tried it, but then it worked fine with DP Poli-Coat. And other people have told me they've had no problems what-so-ever with bonding, even when they used Natty's.

But, if you're worrying about bonding issues, or are going to apply a sealant or wax after polishing, I'd go with M205.
