i just became a owner of a very rare callaway 475 super natural zr1 thats artic white . i would like to color sand and buff her out . she doesnt have alot of orange peel so i thought i could start with 2000 unigrit and then finish it off with 3000 . i have done a test panel, and what i am having difficulty with is finding the correct lighting to see how the finish is shining up at the end of the deal . guess it could be old (57) eyes or just the fact that i have become blind due too the extream whiteness of the car . any suggestions i would be most gratefull for . i have done a lot of cars before but this is my first white one .i am seeing white in my sleep . lol

You are just going to have to angle your lighting in such a way to capture the area you are working on. I know the feeling, I have wet sanded 100's of cars and white is a pain in the butt.

White is great when its clean but such a pain when you're detailing. My main car is Summit White (similar to yours) and it's hard to see ANYTHING on it. I always end up applying too much wax because I can't see the thin layers going on without changing angles every 5 seconds. It's also a pain when polishing...hard to tell if you're dry buffing or not.

For a secound I though I saw you wrote "rare callaway 475 sledgehammer zr1 thats artic white" and was going to be like...MUST have pictures!

But yes like Asphalt said your going to need to angle the light just right to get the right view.
