i have a few sealants like powerlock and m21. i only use sealants going into the winter months. what would be the most durable sealant? i know everyone has different preferences so that is understandable. thinking of trying out the rejex ag is offering?

Rejex...powerlock...Collonite 845..DP Poli Coat..all are great. Mix it with the Duragloss bonding agent and you will get more out of any sealant.

Collonite is a wax and those others are not that long lasting. If you want a long lasting sealant you are going to have to go with Zaino. I am not a fan but it will outlast pretty much anything.

I use UPGP and now Aquartz, which I am hoping AG will carry.

What do you consider long lasting Dana?
Maybe as an OTC convert, 4-6 months is a very long time for me...maybe not for someone such as yourself??

I really reallly want AG to carry Aquartz, they have some fantastic products.

Honestly nothing really last that long on its own, the only thing I have seen last that long if not longer was Zaino. That stuff is so strong I had to use solvent a couple times on paint to remove it before starting to polish.

Yes, I have asked Meghan to look into having AG stock it.

DP Poli Coat has lasted 5 months on my Black '07 cobalt. Not garaged. I do apply spray wax about once a month though so there's no telling which wax is beading...I've never used Zaino's products, but have heard good things.

See, that is what I mean, so it really hasn't lasted 5 months. The only sealant I have seen stand alone the longest is Zaino, it is very tuff stuff.

Collonite is a wax
I called collonite directly a while back and they told me that some of their "waxes" contain more carnauba than others, but none of them are 100% carnauba. So could you consider collonite waxes a "hybrid" sealant/wax product? Have you ever used FK1000P, Dana?
