Customer had me come down and do his Eclipse today. Thing has never been taken care of for ten years and really needed some car. The front and rear bumper had been recentaly repainted so had very very minor light scratches. The hood had also been repainted and had very very light scratches but plenty of body shop holograms. Unforently the prep work on the hood was nothing short of Maaco Impressive. Very had DA and Sanding marks in the area's they fixed.

Rest of the body was pretty much the same throughout. Lots of scratches, but deep and light.

What the paint looked like before...pretty much the same all the way across.

Process:
Wash w/ CG Citrous w/ Foam Gun
Clay w/ Pinnicale Ultra

Body:
1-2 Buffs Dewalt 849 w/ PFW w/ M105
GG DA w/ LC Orange w/ M105
GG DA w/ LC White w/ SIP
Sealed w/ WGDGPS

Got to love doing red cars! They always come out looking so slick! :boobies:

The car looks great for being neglected for 10 years. Looks like the 105 did wonders on the swirls. How well did all the scratches come out? And if you don't mind for a newbie, what is SIB and WGDGPS?

SIP = Menzerna Super Intensive Polish
WGDGPS = Wolfgang's Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

I love that purple foamed wool. I would like to try the Menz SIP, I've been finishing with M205 via white or gray CCS, or Griot's polishes and pads via PC.

Looks great, nice work!

Nicely done! I could see a lot of oxidation before you worked on it. :)
