1995 Oldsmobile Achieva S

I told my dad for fathers day i would polish his 95 Achieva. The "bomber" as he calls it. Its his DD. He has an 05 crew cab Sierra Duramax as his main vehicle. well, it was in BAD shape as far as scratches and swirls.

I did a more simple type of detail.

I washed it with (unfortunately) armor all car wash soap. yah i know, i ran out of my VERY nice Pinnacle samples and didnt know it. I think im going to end up buying DP though since everything else of theres is AWESOME!!

Buffed with my Orange Pad on my 7424XP with Menzerna Super Intensive Polish.

Then waxed with DP MaxWax.

Then Sealed with Wolfgang Spritz Sealant. Love the banana smell, lol.

Windows done with Automotive Windex.

wheels, wheel wells, and engine cleaned with Amazing Roll Off.

engine topped off with Stoners More Shine

tires dressed with Armor All Tire Gel.

I didnt use a finish polish b/c i didnt plan on spending a lot of time and the SIP leaves a VERY nice shine and the MaxWax makes it that much better!!

Definitely give DP Auto Bath a try. If you don't mind a tropical/banana smell, it is fantastic. Don't get me wrong, the smell is great, I just don't like bananas...haha. Pinnacle Bodywork is my absolute favorite, just because of the smell. But DP Auto Bath works just as well as Pinnacle. Wolfgang's shampoo is fantastic as well, it cleans great and smells like some sort of candy I can't recall the flavor of...If you're looking for a cheaper alternative that works just as well, try Durgaloss 901 or Optimum Car Wash. All are great :)

im going to give DP auto bath a try next, ill just buy the 32 ounce. i like the banana smells, the smell like the banana runts taste, LOL.

i forgot to mention that i removed the pinstripe and achieva door badges. this turned out great. i HATED using that soap. atleast it wasnt our mustang, or one of my "nice car" customers.
