What do I put on this?

The area between the windows in the front and rear doors on my F150 are a flat black, compared to blue paint on the rest of the truck. What protection should go here? Wax/sealant? Trim protector like 303?

I'd say Mothers back to black or Poorboys Trim restore.

I've used back to black on mine, also 303. Now I have chrome trim on it to break up the solid black on my truck. If you go the chrome route, be sure it's really cleaned, and in the right spot the first time you put it on, that 3-M tape sticks tight and doesn't give a 'do over'.

Ive used a paint sealant like Optiseal on mine since new, it does seem like a painted surface on GM products.

303 works OK on this area. It definitely protects it, but it doesn't look that great unless you wipe it down with a microfiber afterwards. I'm sure something like optiseal would work fine.

I used klasse AIO on that same part today on an F150, worked great looked darker and very clean.

I was going to say paint, but I just took a closer look. Now I'm leaning towards plastic. Any F150 owners know for sure?

I've seen the chrome trim - it does look awesome, especially if you've got chrome bumpers and other chrome trim. The only chrome on mine are the running boards, so I'm gonna stick with the black for now. If these eventually fade or look bad, I may reconsider the chrome. Thanks for the advice if I go that route!

I used DP Poli-Coat on a 2010 Dodge Ram Saturday. I used it to seal up the B-Pillars and they came out great. It won't restore faded plastic, but it will seal up plastic that's in good condition. It even darkened them a bit.
