It's not my favorite looking car but the article was interesting.

My favorite part:

"As average top speed the representatives of the "TÜV"and Guinness generate a value of 431, 072 km/h (268 mph). This even hit Bugatti's engineering team by surprise.

"We took it that we would reach an average value of 425 km/h," explains Bugatti's chief engineer Dr. Wolfgang Schreiber, "but the conditions today were perfect and allowed even more." "

I'm guessing the car is going to be in the neighborhood of $2,500,000.
That's some neighborhood!

On a related note, look what's gunning for the Veyron Super Sport:

Transtar Dagger GT
2,000 hp
2,000 lb-ft of torque
0-60 in 1.5 secs
100% ridiculous

Very nice, my nine year old son and I enjoyed the pictures.

Plus the car comes in a very conservative color scheme!

The price tag is $1.8 million according to an article I read yesterday. I was surprised at that as the original Veyron is still in the $1.2 million range.

?

Not I. You can go to LeftLaneNews.com and see for yourself. Sounds like you already had spyware/malware on your system. Might want to run SpyBot and/or Windows Defender. HTH

Nice, but I don't think my back would like either of those cars. I would have to put a leg in and fall onto the seat.

Looks too much like a kit car for my taste, the Veyron on the other hand is a master piece.

That's probably why its only $450,000 vs. the Bugatti's 2.5 mil. The Bugatti is definitely an unbelievable technical marvel and a work of art, all at the same time.

The Ultimate Aero beat the Bugatti Veyron's top speed record for fastest production car.

Twin Turbo V8 vs 16 cylinder quad turbo

I'm pretty shocked it beat the Veyron with half of what the Veyron has.

The Bugatti's interior blows away the interiors of these other cars that are gunning for it. Its pricetag reflects the fact that it's more of a complete package than the others that are simply going for raw performance. I agree, the Veyron is a work of art on the inside, outside, and technically.
