PB world trim restorer has always been my go to trim dressing topped (the next day) w/ 303 AP. However I must say, yesterday I dipped into my goodie basket (courtesy of Corey) and tried the Ultima tire and trim guard. All I can say is WOW, this stuff is freaking awesome. It left a very classy, silky, smooth, almost sparkly finish. Today I noticed a few minor swirls in the hood of my black pony, so I did a minor polish job on it and rewashed the car due to some minor dusting. I decided to a bit of testing on the UT&TG. I washed the trim with a wash mitt and ran water on it, even sprayed water directly on it for a while. After drying and inspecting I am happy to report absolutely no running of the UT&TG, looks even better today... I like very much!Im the MAN I will try to remember to post some pictures tomorrow and report on durability from time to time. On a side note; I also decide to do a side by side comparison today of Souveran paste and Supernatural. Sorry no pictures (yet), (no sun out when I finshed tonight), however I can tell you that (to me) Supernatural was more difficult to apply (being that it's a hard wax, maybee thats to be expected) it did though remove as easily as Souveran. I could visually see no difference in looks. However as I said, no sun out, so I had to view it in the garage. More to come tomorrow... I just had to post this picture though. It is, Souveran already been removed on the left and Supernatural hazing on the right. The reflections were so outrageous it was hard to capture the hood of the car. The reflection is of my rolled up garage door overhead and the overhead rafters of the garage...

I believe your garage door needs a good washing Tad!
Corey was mentioning to me a while back that he wanted to try out UT&TG. I mentioned to him that it was on sale at one point but didn't purchase any for myself
303 will do for now :)

SKY is absolutely beeeuuuutiful my friend!!! Glad she liked the Souveran paste! But as you and I both know, with a proper polishing, like you have obviously completed, your car would look awesome with a turd rubbed on it as a LSP...

I've been using UT&TG for over a year now. As far as I can tell, it's basically a sealant for trim. I'm not sure how to describe the look, though "classy, silky, smooth, almost sparkly finish" sounds about right. I have never used it on seriously deteriorated trim, so I do not know how well it restores, but it certainly does protect. And it's durable, too. I find that I need to re-apply after two to four months.

I haven't used it yet as a tire dressing. Given the number of tire dressings I already own, it may take me a long time to try it out.

But as a trim dressing, this Ultima product is top-notch.

I did try it on a tire, and I have to admit, it was very comparable to Optibond, so for the price I will use it on trim, and Optibond on tires...:props:

Ultima Tire/Trim is a nice product indeed, I think the price keeps some away from it. It was cool at DF2010 to see/touch the tire display which had it on it. It would leave a mark in matte temporarily and go back to gloss within a minute or two. I found it to be quite durable in real environment too.

Opti-bond is not as durable. I have UT&TG on my car right now that I applied over the weekend, drove 150 miles to work, and it looks like I just dressed the tires!

Tad, the reflection on the hood reminds me of one of those translucent photographs that companies to when they want to show what a product looks like installed on a car!

Corey, I will be shocked if you don't like the UIGP. I tested it on one of my bolsters to show the owner of the Benz I just did a wash & wax on. Left a very smooth surface. In the Benz, it didn't leave a glossy finish but it did darken the leather. I will be going back to apply it to the rear seats this evening and will take a picture for everyone to show a 50/50.

Does a little go a long way? With all the Ultima products I've used so far (especially the sealant) you need very little.

You're right!. I like it very much! Was just holding it close to my vest since my review wasn't up yet. I've got a bunch of 50/50 and 33/33/33 pictures. I used 303AP on the other side and the tape line has no finish (freashly cleaned with DP).
