hey all,

Anyone have any good OTC detailing mist to use on a white vehicle that has megs nxt 6.0 applied on it? I have never used it before and was looking for some opinions. Thanks

megs OTC ultimate quik wax, i like it because it doesnt take too much, good price, and if you get some on black trim it doesnt leave any residue.

nxt 6.0? I like Mothers Showtime instant detailer for OTC product. I don't use it, but it works very well. I assume you wanted an instant detailer?

Megs' Ultimate Quik Detailer (UQD), available over the counter, would be a good complement to NXT. If you would like to boost the shine, periodically apply Ultimate Quik Wax (UQW) after a wash.

Dodo Juice Red Tropical Mist is the best and easiest to use IMO. It does not leave streaks behind.

Thats not OTC

Megs Ultimate QD or Mothers Showtime are the best you will find OTC.

Also going with Megs UQD.

You need FK425 though. Everyone needs FK425. Really.

Not that I disagree with the quality of FK425 or Dodo, but the original post asked for OTC.

Now granted, Dwayne handed me my FK425 OTC at Autogeek, but most folks don't live close enough to do that. (Thanks Dwayne!) If you can get your hands on it, buy some bubblegum pink FK425!

So as far as OTC, I will go with Meg's UQD.

If you want good results why limit yourself to OTC? Just because a product isnt OTC doesnt mean it has to be expensive.Duragloss,Optimum and F425 are all pretty reasonable.

I like DG 521 OTC from Car Quest. AW is an awesome OTC spray wax.

Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer and TW ICE Detailer (I know, but it's actually a good quick detailer. I like that it contains carnauba within it) are my favorite OTC.

So far my favorite non-otc detailer is Showroom FX's detailer (used to be tropicare).

I haven't tried FK425 though, but have some on order right now, so I look forward to trying that out as it seems to be a favorite.
