It just doesn't make sense to me. Most sealants tend to give a reflective look, while carnaubas tend to give a wet look. If you combine the two, you're mixing chemicals that aren't designed to be mixed(unless specified). Some might argue that you should let the product cure to avoid "mixing". I'm not a chemist, but I don't buy that. In a nutshell, you're not allowing the products to shine(pun intended) on their own. Now, topping the same product makes a lot more sense. JMO. :dblthumb2:

I don't know........I would think that most manufacturers are aware that consumers like to lay down some sealant and top it off with a layer of carnauba. I would think that as long as the products are from the same manufacturer that it shouldn't be a problem.

I wanna see a in depth review of what topping off a wax over a sealant does chemically and physically.

I topped DP Poli-Coat with DP Max Wax on our 2000 silver Accord and it turned out beautifully.

I don't see where there would be a problem as quite a few waxes them selves are are a blend of polymers and nubas.

I dont feel that sealants have matched the depth and wetness associated with 'nubas. They do amp up gloss and are closer than several years, back but sometimes you just miss the look of a wax. Then you top ...
