I got a sample of this at a dyno day. Decided to try it today on my z06 dash, door panels, plastic, and coated leather. Wow, I really like this stuff! Very easy to apply for a uniform look and smells great! After a couple minutes, I buffed the panels to a nice, dark, low gloss finish. This stuff does have a "darkening' effect, but it really restores a healthy look. Only question now, will it attract a lot of dust? Time will tell...

never used be mothers but I'm with you on the letting it soak in and buffing down to a low gloss. Seems to make it perfect for those that like a little smidgen of gloss.

If you buffed the excess off, I doubt you'll have any problems with attracting dust.

I find that you can make almost any dressing look matte or satin if you buff it down, but like you I prefer having a dressing that is not shiny but you know it is there so that the vinyl/rubber/plastic doesn't look naked.
