That should make it shine. I find that a chemical paint cleaner such as Meg's Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner or Poorboy's World Pro Polish will really brighten white paint up. A lot of times I will run a pass with PP after the claying step and before a finish polish pass and the white paint looks just incredible.

While I don't have much experience with white, earlier this year I waxed my father's white boat with Klasse AIO and then topped it with Collinite 845 and I was truly impressed with how it came out. Gave a beautiful shine, nice reflections, excellent depth. I guess since 845 is a boat and RV wax, it is formulated to look great on lighter colors.

The key to shine or gloss is a smooth surface.

To make white or any clear coated car as shiny or glossy as possible, focus first on creating a smooth surface by claying, and then removing as many surface imperfections as possible by polishing.

After you have maximized the smoothness and clarity of the paint via claying and polishing, then you build on these results using a premium quality wax or paint sealant.

White may be one of the better kept secrets, it can be made to absolutely gleam and it doesn't show swirls, dirt or dust like darker colors. Clay, polish and LSP of your choice can produce outstanding results. As Mike mentioned, a smooth surface is the key.

925 is the Collinite Boat/RV targeted wax, 845 is the same product with a slightly different label. I've been using it on white for over 10 years and as what's considered a "bright" wax produces an unbelieveable shine on white. It seems to shed dirt in rain and a bonus is the legendary Collinite longevity.

A pic taken at dusk isn't the best highlight of a detail... however, in this hood pic you can count tree branches in the reflection. Collinite 845 on a 7 yr old, 100,000 mile daily driver that's seen the worst NE Ohio winters can offer.

Getting the paint smooth is the first step. As far as LSPs go, I've found DP poli coat topped with Pinnacle SSII to be an awesome combination.

What ever you decide to do dont leave out the chemical cleaner(DG 501, KAIO..etc.) I find that on whites using a good chemical cleaner really helps to brighten up the paint work and to remove some light staining you usually wouldn't see even after the polishing step.

A nice finish on a white paint (polish if necessarily) and glaze it up with Poorboy’s White Diamond Show Glaze and wax it with Dodo Juice Diamond White or Souveran Paste Wax .;)
