Hi guys, first time really asking a question here. I have a mustang convertible with leather interior (at least I think its leather, doesn't much feel like it anymore) and it has gotten very hard and looks pretty bad. Is there any way to condition and soften the leather back up or am I out of luck?

most leather used in automotive settings, especially mass market vehicles, is coated leather and vinyl put together. It will never take on the feel and appearance of true uncoated leather but much more livable for cars. (food, sun) Using a product like Leatherique can help some especially to clean and look nicer, but best advice is simply to use a product with some additional UV protection. It might be limited, but cannot hurt.
