I recently detailed a 2002 Dodge Intrepid that had heavily corroded chrome wheels.

Products Used:
Optimum Power Clean
Dp Rinseless Wash and Gloss (clay lube)
Wolfgang Poly Clay
Eagle never Dull Polish
Poorboy's Wheel Sealant

Before and After:

Your welcome. The chrome trim may be more delicate than the wheels, I would recommend using a boars hair brush. Lug Nut Brush,Clean Wheel Brush, clean brake calipers, clean lug nuts, boar's hair wheel brush, best wheel brush, wheel lug nuts (http://autogeek.net/lug-nut-brush.html)

"Did u use the never dull to clean out all the grim and all the other stuff? " The lighter stuff like water spots was removed using OPC and Never Dull. While the detailing clay removed the heavier corrosion shown in bottom right of picture three.

I suggest a chrome specific wheel cleaner (see griots), then using a chrome specific polish, and finally a good wheel sealant. Unfortunately you cannot remove pitting but certainly can stop it from getting worse.

You should try Mother's Chrome cleaner. It will clean up those heavily oxidized wheels.
Once they are cleaned and treated with the Mother's then polish with poorboy's.
They will shine nicely.
