Well, I spent more money.
Was intrigued by this little contraption. LOL
Actually, I was at a friends house washing up his truck, and he had one sitting outside. I used it, and man I had to have one. I have an old, wobbly, wooden step ladder, which now will turn into firewood this winter......

Picked it up from Lowes for @ 36 plus tax. Home Depot had one for 2 bucks less, but were out of stock. Aluminum, so it is very light. And it is folds for easy storage. legs have locks to hold them in place.
Enjoy.....I know I did...hence the pics....

nice, gives you room to walk so you dont have to step down and readjust to get another section...i think il look into it for detailing bigger vehicles

Think I may buy another one down the road, and just set them next to each other......good for vans

Thats what I was thinking. My wife drive a Nissan Quest and it's a pain to work on the top. I have steap ladder but this think looks way better.

Thanks again for the tip!

That's a really good idea! I have a SUV too and I have to constantly move my step ladder. I really like how wide the base is of that one. Thanks so much for sharing your find with us Chris. :grouphug:

Cute kids! Are they yours or your friends?

I too have a 2-step ladder. This platform definitely looks more stable and would only need to move twice to cover the top of my SUV. I have to move my stepladder like 4 times, just for 1 side. Thanks, Chris!!

How tall are you Chris? That stool looks like it's pretty high off the ground, but I wonder if me at 5'10 will be able to reach the middle of my SUV's roof with this stool.
