I have a 2006 GTO with a 1 month coat of soveran wax. (paste) The wax is still beading well when washed but now that the sun is out I can see some swirls and very small scrathes. Do I need to remove the wax before polishing with the XMT #1 and a white pad. I claybared the car and polished it about two months ago. I have a light bar and I thought it looked good, but now here in Indiana, the sun is bright, and I am paying alot more attention to the car now that I am doing the detail.
On a different note: Do you guys notice every new nick and scratch in your car every day? I do this now and I am driving my wife crazy. Also, when I walk through a parking lot and I see a car begging to be polished, I wonder if I would be able to make it look good. I have only done two cars and one minor repair that turned out pretty good in my opinion, but I know it takes years to really do a great job.
