With my work/ travel schedule detailing the cars on the weekends is not really an option. It so pains me to see my car so dirty!

I posted a couple of weeks ago that we bought a Mazda CX-7 for the SO. Since I have a 3 day weekend I was able to spend a good part of Saturday detailing the new ride. I am so out of shape! The heat and all the work wiped me out. But I sure enjoyed it! Thanks to several suggestions I went with Poorboy's Natty's Red as the LSP. Very pleased with the look of the red.:dblthumb2:

Choice of weapons:
Cleaning Wheel Wells and Tires:
Amazing Roll Off
Some OTC wheel cleaner I wanted to use up.
PB SSS
various brushes

Cleaning Exterior:
New car so no real correction needed. Some swirls but not bad.
PB SSS
Two Bucket Method with Grit Guard
Shmitt- Black for lower part and Yellow/ White for upper
Some PB Bug Squash for a couple of bug and bird bombs

Interior Clean and Protect:
Vacuum
PB Natural Look
Inside door jambs: Cleakote Quik Deatiler

Exterior Protection/ Finish:
Wheel wells – Chem Guys Bare Bones
Tires: Pinnacle Black Onyx
Wheels: PB Wheel Sealant
Paint: Natty's Red
Glass: Clearkote Quik Detailer

No before pictures a it was not real dirty.

I'm about to order some Natty's Red, how workable was it to apply and wipe off? Looks great btw, the hood has some really nice glow and reflections.

Nice! I have been using Natty's Red as a final coat after Collinite #845 to give it some warmth.

Very easy to work with. Easy on and off. Even when left to haze for a while. I did the roof first and let that dry while I started on the hood. No problem buffing off the roof. Most PB products can be used in the sun and Natty's Red is no exception.

My jar is a bit low so I'm going to order more myself!

Thanks for the tip! :xyxthumbs: I'm picking up a 32oz of Nattys Blue since its on sale for $49.99. :dblthumb2: Killer deal and bang for the buck since i'm on a very tight budget.

looking good! not trying to offend but is that overspray in the wheel well? kinda looks like it or could be just a reflection.

Is Natty's red the same formula as Natty's blue just differently scented?

Everyone is or should be on a tight budget these days! Can't go wrong with Natty's Blue

Reflection from the driveway. I hate that pebbled surface!

Different. I think Blue is a warmer look and red is more glossy. I would use Blue on dark colors and Red on lighter. But both will look great on any color.
