has anyone had good success using the wg swirl remover system, as id like to buy this while on sale. also, will the finishing glaze with a white or orange pad remove light swirls on a new auto?

you will be equally impressed with the two step Wolfgang Polishes at 3.0 status. Smaller sizing helps too ...

you can start by using a white pad and TSR, if you need more power move to orange pad and TSR. You will likely finish up with a light grey or blue pad and FG for added gloss and reflection.

Here the WG twins were used, with fuzion.

I had great success with the WG products. I bought the WG system with my flex. I used it on a 1999 Camry XLE, and it did a great job of adding gloss to the paint, and cleaning up the swirls. Only deeper RIDS were left. Here are some pics of the results. I'm not very good with taking pics yet, but here are a couple that might give you an idea of how well the system works. This was with a flex 3401 using an orange pad + TSR, white pad with FG, and a red pad with DGPS.

And this is on an older car, so I know you will have better results on a newer car with the system. The products were easy to use. Very easy, even for a newbie like me. This was my very first polishing experience with a polisher and not my hands. To answer your question as to whether to use a white pad or orange with FG on the car, as Mike Phillips has taught me, try the least aggressive method first. So I would do a test spot with the FG + white pad first and see if this will give you the desired results. If not, then you might have to go with orange pad + TSR, then FG with a white pad for the final polishing and glossing the paint.

Hope this helps!
