I saw something on the web called "polycharger wax booster" that can be added to waxes or sealants to improve performance/durability something like 400%. Is this just hype or does it really work?

Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection, Four Star UPP, paint sealant (http://www.autogeek.net/four-star-ultimate-paint-protection.html)

This stuff has polycharger in it and bonds well, and lasts a long time. I use it on almost all the daily drivers I work on.

Here's a bunch of info on the stuff

Blackfire WetDiamond also has polycharger in it - it seems to work well.

It does work, I have it on my shelf. 400% is an overstatement, but literally doubling the durability is more realistic. When I add the H2O Polycharger to a spray sealant, it provides the most insane water beading and sheeting I've ever seen during my next car wash.

It doesn't work well with just any wax/sealant/QD/spray wax. You kind of have to play around and see what gives you good results. Some people have reported that adding Polycharger just makes it streaky and/or difficult to buff off. It doesn't matter if the product is already "Polycharged"...you can still add the Polycharger and get even better durability (again, more like double the durability, not 3-4X better).

Emile, have you ever double boosted UPGP?

Edit: Just noticed the chart mentions Wolgang Plastik Surface sealant as well

just as emile said, i'm with him 100%. i have both the h20 kit and the ch2 kit. actually 2 ch2 kits(1 brand new). i love thew h20 for boosting my qd'ers. ch2 brings your wax/sealant to another level. gonna try boosting fk425. as i said, i have a brand new ch2 kit if your interested in buying it or for trade?

as for upgp, i have double boosted it. works extremely, extremely well.

What I canīt understand about the polycharger booster mixture is that it says that do not use a boosted product 48 hours after the mixture....How this rule applies with products that in the original formula has Polycharger on them (Examples: Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection / Four Star Ultimate Spray Wax Plus)? Those products have a shorter shelf life than other products without Polycharger?

I have often wondered the same thing.

Not sure if anyone has done this yet but search eBay for Pinnacle stuff. You will receive a hit for Liquid Souveran boosted by Polycharger...

I am probably just overlooking it, but I can not find it for sale here on AG, but Polycharger's website says AG sales it?

AG no longer carries it. It was about 2 or so years they haven't had it..

I have used the H2o version with real good results

We had originally offered it ... it was kinda cool to add to this or that and play scientist. Luckily several products like Four Star, Wolfgang, and Liquid Souveran already came with it.

Wolfgang sealant did as memory serves, but not sure if it made it into 3.0 .

Thanks Killr, I have a sample of WG 3.0 but I havent tried it yet. My favorites are BFWD and UPGP which both have PC as does our Four Star Spray Wax.
