Yeah, got a little carried away with pics. Oh well, you guys don't mind, do you? :p

This is my parents' car. It is a daily driver that sits outside 24/7. It is a 2000 DX model with about 70,000 miles on the odometer. My main goal was just to get the swirl marks out and leave the deeper defects (some RIDS and water etch marks, mainly on the roof and trunk), since this is a DD. I did not buff the front bumper - the clear coat is peeling in some areas and I didn't want to make it worse. We're supposed to take it to see what it would cost to get it fixed. The front bumper only got wash, clay, re-wash, Poli-Coat, and Optimum Car Wax. Keep in mind this is only the 3rd time I have buffed out a car. Process is as follows:

Interior
vacuum
clean rubber floor mats
Natural Shine on interior plastic
clean windows

Exterior
clean tires, hubs, and fender wells with Meguiar's Super Degreaser, assorted brushes
clean lower plastic with Meguiar's APC+ 10:1, Deep Crystal car wash, toilet brush
wash car with Meguiar's Shampoo Plus, 2BM, Meguiar's wash mitt
clay with Meguiar's Smooth Surface clay and Quik Detailer
wash again
dry with Cobra Guzzler
Meguiar's Ultimate Compound on 5.5 inch orange LC CCS pad via G110v2
headlights got M105 via 4" orange LC CCS pad, followed by M205 on 4" white LC CCS pad
taillights got Ultimate Compound via 4" orange LC CCS pad, followed by M205 on 4" white LC CCS pad
Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant on lower plastic trim, Ardex Viper Wax on upper plastic trim
Ultimate Quik Wax on windows 2x, minimum 12 hours between applications
Meguiar's Endurance high gloss tire gel on tires
Meguiar's Hyper Dressing in fender wells

Sealant: DP Poli-Coat

LSP: DP Max Wax

Thoughts: This was my first time using either Poli-Coat or Max Wax. Both products were extremely easy to use - application and removal were a breeze. Spread very easily and took no effort to remove. Definitely will be using these again. :dblthumb2:

Now for the pics.

It's amazing how you can't see micro-marring on metallic silver. Excellent job, Shane! :dblthumb2:

Did you clean the exterior plastic with APC prior to using the car wash shampoo?

Thanks! I sprayed the plastic down with APC+ first, and then I cleaned it using a brush dipped in a bucket of soap.
