I'm going to be using XMT360 for the first time tomorrow and I was wondering how long I should wait before applying another sealant on-top of it since the XMT is basically and AIO. Should I wait the normal 12 hours like you would if you were doing a second coat of sealant or can I put a coat of sealant on right after I'm done with the XMT?

I would wait the normal 12 hours. What sealant are you wanting to top it with..

I use 360 all the time as a pre-clean light correction product all the time and I top it right away since it is not my primary protection product.

I always pick it up when they go on BOGO, but it would be nice if they put the larger bottles (unlike the 12 oz.) on BOGO too.:xyxthumbs:

I have waited 12 hours to 24 hours after applying XMT360 until I apply a final LSP but I mostly just apply an LSP directly after applying 360 because I have found it makes no difference in terms of the durability of either 360 or the LSP of choice. I find that 360 actually has a reasonable amount of protection for an AIO, sometimes I have seen more than a month of standalone protection but it is not my protection product therefore I don't really mind if the LSP affects the base layer of 360 as it has already done its job of cleansing and prepping the paint.

I would at least let it cure for a hour or so, it can't hurt. Either way, do a test spot first to be sure you get the results you are looking for, has the car already been polished before this step?

Also how often would you use XMT 360 on your car?

I use a white CCS pade from Lake Country if I use a buffer (PC because rotaries make XMT360 dry too quickly imo). If it is by hand, I simply use a yellow foam wax applicator and make two passes per panel which won't yield correction but does a great job of cleansing the paint past what a good wash and even claying can remove from the pores of the paint. It also is a great foundation for any LSP you choose to apply. By machine, you can get some minor correction; I have used an orange LC pad via PC to apply 360 which yielded decent correction but nothing close to a proper polish.

I used XMT 360 once with an orange CCS pad via Flex . My car is silver so it worked well.
