My front end is covered with bugs after a long trip.
What is the best way to clean them off?

Is a Micro fiber wash mitt in some Griot's wash soap enough to get it clean?

pressure sprayer at a coin wash. Or your own pressure washer after soaking it with something like tarminator.

I'm going to a coin wash tomorrow and spraying them off as best I can and then going over it with the wash mitt.
Hopefully that will be enough.

And good sponges to remove bugs or other type of product?

Pinnacle bug sponge rocks. I was nervous when i first felt it but it is safe and it does work.

I have seen several forums that state a damp used dryer sheet will do the trick. Others have mentioned WD40. :xyxthumbs:

I soak and wring out a full size bath towel, then lay the wet towel flat on the bug infested area for 20-30 minutes....in the shade of course. The water will slowly saok into the bug matter, and it will easily wipe off during a normal hand wash with no extra pressure. I have been doing this for years on my motorcycle and helmets.

Poorboy's World Bug Squash works nicely and also has many other uses too. You might have some etching there that you just think is bug splatter that won't come off, in that's case you would want to have them polished out.

Bug Squash, Einszett Insekt, or P21S Total Wash. Use them to presoak areas prior to washing.

The simplest way of doing it and it works! Bottom line all you need to do is soften the splatter then wash it off normally.

I like to use the 1Z Einszett Anti-Insekt Pre-Cleaner with the Pinnacle Safe Scrub Bug & Tar Pad.

I use Bug Squash as well. I usally let it sit for a minute or two then everything seems to wash away with a mitt. Even diluted it works well.
