Here is a 2008 Silverado. The truck was pretty beat up and had some pretty good scratches in it. It was an exterior only detail that took me about 10 hours to complete.

Process:

Clayed entire truck using Final Inspect as clay lube. M105 on double sided wool pad. Followed by 1 pass of M205 on a green flex pad than 1 pass with 205 on a white LC finishing pad. Then I topped wih 26. The tires were dressed in ASD and the plastic trim was done up with HD 2:1 as well as the wheel wells.

Excellent job. That is pretty impressive especially since GM clear can be a bear to work on.

I will never understand how people can spend so much on new cars and just abuse them like that.

Nice save...

Hope you educated the owner on how to keep the paint looking good so it doesn't return to how it was before you restored the finish.

Very nice turnaround indeed. These are the type of jobs I get to do all the time but the better known I get the nicer the cars get. Great job on a tough finish.:props:

wow very nice. That paint looked horrible to start. My old 2000 after 9 yrs when I sold it never looked that bad.

Nice work. M105 with a wool pad! Did you try a foam pad (like orange first)? I like dark red colors so I like the results.

That thing was flat out trashed! Would almost make me think it was a grove truck like it was used for down here. Great job on turning it around! Nice hitch cover BTW. What do you ride?

Yes, i tried an orange LC foam pad and settled on wool as my final process. It just cut a little faster.

Thank you. I ride an '08 250sx-f. By far the best bike I've owned to date.
