I use APC+ dilluted 10:1, and a nylon fingernail type brush.

:iagree: Also, if you don't have a steamer, using hot water to mix the APC+ can help break up the grease and oils from years of dirty hands on the really bad belts. But the mix won't stay hot for long. :xyxthumbs:

So steaming is effective for the grime on the belts also? Just steam then wipe?

A few months ago my 6 year old daughter puked all over herself, the booster seat and of course the seat belt too. It was a H E L L of a mess!!! I secured the belt so it could not retract (did not want puke in the mechanism) and used Zep High Traffic Lane cleaner on it (it has an enzyme action to it) and steamed it. They came out fine. I don't wish that job on anybody.

I do have a steamer... Didn't even think of using it for that, thanks fellas. I will give it a try and see how it goes.

PS, where can get Zep high traffic?

Is zep high traffic comparable to folex? or is one a better general cleaner and one a better spot stain remover?
