Hello guys. I got a chance to borrow a camera. I don't think i'm good at taking pictures though, so i need some advice. Would you mind looking at some pictures i recently took and leave some comments on how i would be able to better illustrate my work? Thank you. :buffing::buffing::buffing:

Lot of nice work.

As for the pictures, it is best to not use the flash when you do not need it especially on the beauty shots. It just reflects back off hard surfaces causing uneven lighting and can cause flare (haze).

Gotcha! Should i avoid the flash with sun shots or when at a shade? Thanks for that, i will keep it in mind :)

Yes, the flash will only cause unnatural and uneven lighting. You may need it to get the swirls to show but otherwise it should be off. The flash reflects back off surfaces. For example, in one pic you see the tell tale glare off the Four Star bottle.

The contrast seems low in some pics. It may be just your camera or they were shot underexposed and then lightened later. If you want rich saturated color you need to be sure to watch your exposure more carefully...slight underexposure is actually good.

Awesome, Al. Appreciate your help.

Yeah, i just borrowed the camera. Can't afford one yet. Well, i guess i'm just spending too much buying detailing stuff too quick. lol. :)
