My order arrived today. My car had been prepped and was ready to wax.
I applied DP Max Wax which was in the order and very happy with it. Will purchase this wax again.
How long after waxing before applying detail spray?
Thanks.

No appreciable time needed, that said let the wax sit outside in sun for an hour as carnaubas often look better after some heat. (unscientific at best)

What QD are you using? Is there a need to QD right after waxing? Max Wax should leave you ready to go. I just think the less times you touch it the better, less potential for scratches and unintentionally removing the fresh wax. I can see using a spray to boost the "just waxed" look after a wash, I like FK 425. My $0.02

To be honest, as i've noticed, the DP's QD doesn't actually boost the looks of maxwax, but kind of the opposite actually. Just based on my observation.

Personally, I do not like to apply a quick detailer after waxing unless I absolutely have to. If I'm using a good wax, then it should be able to stand up by itself without help. I want to enjoy the wax on its own merits. Applying a quick detailer on top of a good wax/sealant is like pouring catsup on prime steak.

But sometimes, of course, one has no choice.

I bought the DP QD what are your thoughts on it? I have not tired it out yet. I was going to use it on the car prior to covering after a joy ride.

I didn't actually like the DP gloss enhancer, but that's just me. I would personally only use a QD after washing the car and when it's dusty. But never during an application of wax or during the curing time. :)
