Well my new car came in a few weeks early and thanks to all of the wonderful advice on the forums (and plenty of videos by Mike), I decided to tackle the new car prep on my own. When I ordered the car back in February, I made the dealer promise me not to wash it. When he e-mailed me my monthly updates, I reminded him. They did remove the vinyl before I got there (next time, I will ask them to leave it), and overall the paint looked very good. Adhesive leftovers are a pain though. A few random very light scratches. If it weren't for the Brinkmann and a lot of time, I wouldn't have found them.
Here's what I did:
Wash - ONR 2 buckets with grit guards. Home depot grout sponge
Clay - Megs with Pinnacle lube
Polish - Menzerna 085rd on a grey pad with my griots. Intent wasn't to try to correct the few lines I found, but to jewel the paint and prep for sealant.
Sealant - Wolfgang 3.0
It was raining all day, so all work done in my garage and so were the pics. Will get some outside pics this weekend if I re-wash her for a coat of fuzion.

Didn't do anything inside since it is brand new. The smell though is heaven (what can I say, born and raised in Detroit, the new car smell is in my genes):

Oh yeah, this is a detailing forum, got to have a pic of the flake!

Thanks for looking. I'm a rookie, so feedback always appreciated. This journey started on this forum way back in the winter when I posted "what car should I buy". All the great advice got me to pull the trigger, and I'm very happy with my new ride (it replaced my DD, a 2008 Cadillac CTS).
