What is the best and fastest way to hide and fill swirls on a black car that will last longer then just to the next wash or until you have the time to give the car the proper TLC?

No one out there with any other words of wisdom for me?

Glazes usually have some filling properties and NXT is supposed to fill fairly well.

A glaze isn't going to last as long as he wants and I don't find NXT to be a very good filler.

:iagree:

If the swirls are light enough to actually be filled and hidden, why not just do a quick pass with XMT 360 or something similar? Filling and hiding seems like such a waste of time, energy and money to me. Just my $0.02 :xyxthumbs:

I light polish followed by Poorboy's Black Hole. Then top with your favorite wax. Done.

I second this, but clay first.

heres an idea of what it does.

Well as some of you know, the dealer installed some after market swirls, marring and rids into my car by washing it in their tunnel wash.

Well not having the place do my car in winter anymore I figured I'd let it go till spring.

I couldn't take it any more.

So I decided to do a cover up...

Dealer installed swirls:

Using PB Black Hole:

The mark you see in the lower right side is a reflection, not a scratch.

Not bad for a cover up job. I had to bring it to the dealer today to have the oil sensor put in, he couldn't believe it.

For the best possible swirl hiding abilities I'm going to recommend two products that autogeek doesnt carry. They seem to be the best in their fields. Autoglym Super Resin Polish is a layer able filler polish/glaze topped with Built-Hammer Autobalm(wax). If you research these two products you will find they have some of the best filling capabilities out there.

You should now be able to purchase Autoglym products at your local Pepboys so there is no need to order that product. As for the Bilt-Hammer Auto Balm, you will need to order that.
