Edge 8" Pads?

Hey guys and gals...I know this is a dumb question ( even though there are no dumb questions )....

Do the Edge 8" pads fit the Edge2K Drive DA Adapter (Porter Cable 7424) (http://www.autogeek.net/e210.html) ??? Only reason I ask is because the wife and I have a big car show in Atlanta coming up on Memorial Day Weekend. I am getting ready to place a huge order and am in need of some new pads for the PC. The Wave pads I've been using in the past are only available in the yellow and white version....and I'm in need of some greens, blues, reds, etc....

So will the 8" pads fit the adapter that works for my 6" pads now?

Yes they fit but they are way to big for the PC 7424

Don't get 8" pads. You will regret it. I have some of the Meguiar's Soft Buff 2.0 pads, which are 7 inches, and even that is a bit big. Go with something smaller - you won't regret it.

You do a google search for edge pads you will come up with a site that still has a few 6" flat pads still remaining in stock.

Thanks for the info...just kind of crappy because I was wanting to send AG my last paycheck ;) and I don't want to have to change the PC that I have just because I need new pads.

Well if you want to shop at AG they still have the 6" flat pads they are just missing the blue pad. They are under 3M's products as 3M bought over their company.
