It states clear coat safe, so I would assume you can use it on paint to remove stubborn dirt areas?

Meghan posted how she cleaned the bugs off her car using ARO.

You assume correctly, also clearcoated wheels.

Thanks.

I wonder how ARO compares to Optimum Power clean as far as cleaning ability?

It seems rather strong, though I could not offer a specific harm from using ARO. My wife demands it for porch furniture (PVC) -- it literally is spray on and off. First time you use it on tires is wicked, the brown stuff just oozes off ... While I like Powerclean (very versatile APC) it doesnt seem to do what ARO does as efficiently.

I currently have a gallon OPC, but I'm almost done with it. It's VERY good stuff, but I don't really need all the versatility. I use OPC mainly for the exterior: tires, wheel wells, engine degreaser, and stubborn stains on paint. So, if ARO will do a more efficient job than OPC for my uses, ARO is going into the AG shopping cart! :xyxthumbs:

P.S. Who manufactures ARO? I couldn't find a manufacturers website for it. Just wondering...

I really like Amazing Roll Off. Works great on vinyl siding also!

Is Butyl bad only if you inhale it? I wear a professional 3M respirator when working with chemicals.

The MSDS for Butyl says it is a neuro depressant and is absorbed through the skin, so I'd use nitrile gloves and keep it off your arms, etc.

+1

Gloves are a must when detailing. $15 for a 100pack here. $15 or a helluva lot of pain and suffering later.

You can find them at a lot of places.

Here is a link for some Nitrile gloves (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=nitrile+gloves&x=0&y=0) though. :xyxthumbs:

I wish AutoGeek sold some.
