My dad showed me his order for my birthday and he mixed some stuff up (thanks to Matt for running out to the line to cancel the order). I'm in class right now but before I change the order I was going to see what everyone thinks for my order. I'm working on my Black, 2001 Jetta TDI

The car in question:

The Order:

Menzerna Polish PO85RD (http://www.autogeek.net/menzerna-final-finish-po85rd.html)
Menzerna Power Finish PO 203 32 oz. (http://www.autogeek.net/menzerna-polish-po203.html)
Cobra Microfiber Towel Super 6 Pack (http://www.autogeek.net/commickit.html)
Green Course LC Pad
Grey Finishing LC Pad
Red Wax/Sealant Pad

I do need a couple suggestions though: I have a 3401 VRG but to Im wondering if I should go for 5.5" pad or 6.5" pads. I'm going to need a good drying towel, what does everyone think of the Meguiars Water Magnet Drying Towel (http://www.autogeek.net/x2000.html) , or should I go with the Cobra Guzzler. Also I was going to get some Meguiars Professional Ultimate Wipe® Detailing Cloth (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-ultimate-wipe.html) are those Cotton microfiber, because I'd like to use nicer MF towels from now on. I have tons of 'Costco' microfiber, but no decent Microfiber, is the 6 pack going to cut it?

Lastly I need a leather conditioner, I used a sample of Pinnacles Leather conditioner but I heard it has wax in it, how is the leatherique?

EDIT: Does anyone have any results on the durability of the Menzerna sealant, will it look as good as Wolfgangs on a black car?

i used the power/super finish combo with great results, highly recommend. what condition is the car in,do you need the coarse pad? i've never used the megs drying towel but the cobra's rock.

Its got plenty of swirls that can be seen in direct sunlight, looks great everywhere else ;) with a coat of Signature II. Under the trunk will need some real attention from years of POs abusing it, putting cargo in and out of the trunk.

ic, be sure to have some less aggressive pads on hand for the sections that aren't as bad, good luck.

I would get the 6.5" pads they give you plenty of clearance. They give you clearance period, I just ran out and grabbed my flex and put a 5.5 pad on it and there is bp overhang so you would have to be so careful not to hit the car with the bp. 6.5" all the way
