How to polish the small areas

So how does one tackle the small areas such as handles, mirrors, etc'?

I normally tape the edges and use a spot polishing pad. The areas can be done with a normal pad, just make sure to tape the edges so you don't hurt anything on accident. Are you using a rotary or DA?

4" spot buff pads on a 3.5" backing plate work well for most small areas. But for places they can't reach, like under door handles, etc. I have some old pads I cut up and use for polishing these areas by hand.
