So Im working a 2nd shift today and its fairly chilly right now.... (50 or so in the shade) and not going to get much warmer. I wanted to get another coat of DP Sealant on, but I know the weather isnt perfect to apply wax/sealant....
I was thinking (scary thought), should I purposly park in the sun to get the car to a warmer temp? Being its fall, it wont get that hot (lower NY). Will the sealant be ok hazing on a full sun car being on 50 degrees or so?
Anyone try or think of this?

Thanks

DP was born in Florida, papi. It shouldn't have any problem with the sun. :p

I think you would be fine in sun or shade...
I have to things I love so far my shmitt and the DP shield sealant.
I mean there was NO and I mean NO effort to put on and take off the DP. DP sheild seal. is just plain sweet.

I always prefer to wax/seal in the shade, no matter the temp. Easier to me personally. I have however parked the car in the direct sun for several hours after to try and cure or speed the drying of the sealant. I call it "setting".

I'll probably just top my DP Sealant x2 with a coat or 2 of NB. I have 3 tubs of it unopened ready for application... Hopefully we get a warm spell....

:D I used to live in Miami. I had a lot of Latino friends and sometimes I would pick up a little Spanish. It made me laugh when I learned what "papi chulo" (sp) means. I think I first heard the phrase in a song or something.
