Oxidation

Gonna polish my buddy's 2000 f150 this weekend, and it has some serious oxidation on the hood and roof. I havent tackled anything this bad yet. I have a flex 3401, and wondering if I should go directly with a Lake Country yellow pad with 3M compound, or try an orange pad with WF 3.0 swirl remover first? Thanks for any advice. Oh and by the way the truck is black ,Harley Davidson model F150

Alway's start with the least aggressive combo. Do a small test panel first and remember to clay.
