I just put my first layer of Wolfgang 3.0 paint sealant on my truck and was wondering, Should I do another IPA wipedown before putting on the 2nd coat later this evening after it has cured for 12 hours?

Thanks in advance

No. Just apply the second coat.

The IPA wipe-down practice is to either insure a clean surface or to remove any fillers to enable you to inspect the finish.

If anything, IPA might remove the sealant. ;)

Might, or will?

"Might" is safer to say than "would". I'm not 100% positive 91% IPA will remove WGDGPS, but I'd say there's a good chance it would.

I'd say this would boil down to the concentration and how much is used, but generally, yes, it will remove sealant/wax.

Using 91% IPA will definitely strip any wax or sealant on the surface. If the car sits outside, you may want to wipe the paint down with a QD before applying the second coat in case any dust has accumulated on the surface of the car. If the paint is still clean after 12 hours or the car sits in a garage, then just go straight to applying the second coat.
