Optimum car wax question

Can you use OPT car wax as a stand alone LSP? Or is it really best used as a topper on top of your existing LSP and as a maintenance wax for the in-between polishing/paint correcting that is done like twice a year? I was wondering if anyone has used it as the only LSP on their car, and how durable it really is.

It can be used as a stand-alone LSP, but I use it as a topper myself.

When I spoke to David at DF he also said it can be layered and based on its composition the way it refracts light improves with each layer.
