I have some cobra microfibers and i was thinking about trying some oxi to clean them. Have any of you guys tried this without any adverse effects? I have some pinnacle cleaner coming from AG but i need something in the meantime. Also I'm new to this forum so i just wanted to say hi to everyone out there on AG. This forum seems very informative. thanks

careful if powder ... seems that the powder gets caught in the microfiber nap. Only liquids are suggested.

:iagree:

If you don't have microfiber detergent yet then use a gentle laundry detergent. Try Woolite or any other laundry detergent which does not contain perfumes, fabric softeners, or bleach.

Agree with both previous posts. Charlie's soap also fits the bill very nicely.

Woolite works so well. So does the new concentrated ALL in the small bottles. They have a pure, strong formula with no perfumes in it. We use it here for our laundry as well. A very nice detergent.

My wife has a tub of Oxyclean powder. I washed some pretty soiled MFs today and wanted to use some... so what I did was I put the Oxyclean in a cup and added REALLY hot water then stirred until it was dissolved. Then I poured it into the wash. :)

I also use a very small amount of Oxyclean powder in Hot water, no issues - Clean towels :)

Make sure you only add vinegar to your last rinse cycle, you don't want to add it with your soap...;) I would not add more than a 1/2 cup either..
