I’ve got two late model vehicles that are daily drivers. A beige 2008 GMC Acadia, my wife’s car, a grey 2008 Toyota Avalon. I have tried many different products, some of them quite expensive. I’ve wanted to ask, what are must have products for keeping the cars in the drive way looking new for as long as possible?
What are the best bang for the buck, “go to” products for the amateur detailer?

Hard to beat Duragloss products.:buffing:

:iagree: DG has many top notch products that can hold its own against the top products out there. Many say Duragloss products are also extremely similar to Zaino's products both in performance and looks for about half the price.

Some of my favorites are:
#951 (spray sealant), #521 (detail spray), DG 111 (sealant), DG 601/105(bonding agent/sealant), DG 253 (Tire dressing), DG 501(AIO), DG 902 (shampoo), DG 755 (glass polish)

DP Max Wax- Made with pure carnauba wax and advanced polymers. (http://www.autogeek.net/carnauba-car-wax.html)! Great wax for the price, I use it all the time and my expensive wax's are saved for "treats". Is the "treat" for the car? Or me? :dunno:

DP American Made Car Care Products, exceptional car care, professional detailing products (http://www.autogeek.net/detailers-pride.html)

Pretty much anything in the DP line will give you the best bang for the buck.

The products mentioned above, also Meguiar's Detailer Line (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-professional-products.html) of products. In fact, most Meguiar's products are a good bang for the buck and will give you great results. :xyxthumbs:

i would think the klasse twins would be up there. price isn't too steep and for up to a year of protection it can't be beat. i did the math once on price per wash and ch guys citrus was about .28 per wash if you buy the gallon and it cleans great with lots o foam. optimun's qd can't be beat with the dilution factor of 3-1. i highly recommend menzerna's powerlock simply for the looks, not sure about durability yet.:dblthumb2:

Menzerna polishes are excellent and have had excellent results with Duragloss, hard to beat it for the price, workability and performance...

Another vote for Duragloss. Especially if you buy it by the gallon.

Duragloss & Optimum are hard to beat. OID and OCW are exceptional values. OCW is on sale at Detailed Image for 29.95 and AG price matches. Opti Bond, OPP and Optimum XCar Wash are all my favorites and are great deals by the gallon. Order more than $95 and use code AGO and shipping is free!

I got some of the new DP Poli-Coat paint sealant at Detailfest and I used it the other day. I must say that this stuff goes on and off like a charm. It smells good too. I paid $14.95, you just can't beat that! I will post an update on durability an a month or so.
