Can your pads be used immediately after cleaing them with the pad washer, or do you still have to sit them out to dry compeletly before using again

If you are spinning them afterwards they do dry pretty well, so you could use them again as needed but still lightly damp. If you want the pad completely dry allow some time to sit out.

Ok..but will it have any affect on applying the polish if the pad is still slightly wet?

I havent used at pad washer but it will make your polish runny and increase splatter and sling if you use a damp or wet pad. A little moisture isnt bad but if its too wet it will cause problems.

if they are still slightly wet then it will cause a small issue, but that will be taken care of in a couple passes. The nice thing about the grit guard washer is that the little orange squeezer thing draws every last drop of water out of the pad. It gets it so much more dry than just shaking it or spinning it on the machine. I would still recommend that you have at least two of each pad around though. This is why I use the Edge 2000 pads. When one is wet I just flip it over. :) By the time I need to clean that side, the other side is dry.

I use mine right after cleaning. I spin dry them in the air, then run them on the little dryer on the lid. Have very little moisture in them when done.

I have done the switch thing too. Let pad 1 dry while you are using pad 2, then use pad 1 while pad 2 is drying.

Will the plastic gaurd that cleans the pad, damage it at all?

I don't have a GG Pad Washer (YET), but when I do hand-rinse a pad during a polishing session, I will spin dry it then wrap it in a MF towel and squeeze as much water out as possible. As others said too much water will get messy and sling all over. Just dry it the best you can and continue on.
