As you scroll down each product description on this site, it gives a set of directions. They all read, to use a 6" line of product. Is that the first application to the pad or each time you start a new section? Reason I ask is I could swear I read yrs ago to use two dime sized dots after priming pad with a little distilled water. Important as I could be using substantially less product than what is required
