I received my foam cannon and I am all hooked up and ready to go but I will have to wait use it (thunderstorms today) but I did have a couple of questions.

1) Do you just fill up the soap dispenser with any amount of soap and then adjust your foam with the control knob? Or does the soap need to be a measured amount?

2) I normally mix ONR in my wash bucket with my soap. Can or has anyone tried this with the foam cannon? Just curious about this one.

From the Foam Cannon Webpage (http://www.autogeek.net/autogeek-foam-cannon-hp.html),

For the best results, use DP Xtreme Foam Formula in your Foam Cannon HP. This shampoo was developed specifically for foam guns and produces an incredible amount of foam. It may take some experimentation to get your preferred dilution, but start with 1 ounce of shampoo. Pour the shampoo into the Foam Cannon HP tank, hook it up to your pressure washer, and let the foam fly!

You can use any car wash soap but if the goal is lots of foam some soaps foam better than others.

I generally use about .75 oz of soap in my gun.

The soap I'm currently using the Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss.

The best OTC soap I have used in the gun was Turtle Wax ICE soap. Foamed up nicely with about 1.5 oz of soap.
