Hey guys and gals. I thought I'd post up a few pictures on some of the stuff I've been doing. Been working on my wifes car and figured I'd run a few tests at the same time. So I'll get straight to the fun part and post up some pics of the different beading that was their when I went outside this AM. I didn't post the Fuzion next to Natty side by side pic since the beading was identical in the picture. Thanks to Max, Meghan, and AG for the Fuzion and the Natty's Blue!

I'm confused. I thought you were posting pics of Fuzion and Natty's Blue? What's UPGP?

Sorry. I'm being forced to snort pollen lately and it seems to be affecting my mind. http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/characters/character0010.gif (http://www.mysmiley.net/free-adult-smileys.php) :nomore:

Doesn't UPGP stand for Ultima Paint Guard Protection? I think you "might" have mixed something up. Maybe you could help us out a bit.

I simply thought the different bead size was interesting between the wax and sealant that I used..

As the title says "Beading sizes UPGP/Nattys Blue/Fuzion"....
and from the verbage...."I didn't post the Fuzion next to Natty side by side pic since the beading was identical in the picture." in other words the beading looked the same in the picture of the hood that showed Natty's and Fuzion side by side so there was no point.

UPGP = Ultima Paint Guard Plus Ultima Paint Guard Plus 4oz., paint sealant, liquid wax, car wax, paint sealer (http://www.autogeek.net/ultima-paint-guard-plus-4.html)
UPGP is a very high quality high concentrated sealant from the makers of Four Star. I would highly suggest you check it out. Really a great deal when you take into acount how little it takes to protect a car. (about 1/4 oz) Keeps beading for an extrordinary amount of time. Wipe on Walk away! Do not apply too thick. 1 spritz lasts about 3 SQ FT. Do not apply directly to paint.

You are pretty close. See my reply above. Not quite sure why you say I am mixed up. Did you guys read the verbage? :)

It is indeed cool to see the different beading and sheeting actions of waxes and sealants. P21S and Zaino use to offer these super cool small beads too, completely uniform.

I have always felt that Natty's red and Fusin shared alot of the same attributes when laid on the same. I also have done some longevity test and find they both perform very very well. I keep both in my arsenel and use Fusion on all my personal Vehicles along with Liquid Souveran.

I agree.
My findings are, they look IDENTICAL INITIALLY when applied next to each other, but in my experience Natty's starts to fail way before Fuzion. The extra 2 weeks of shine and protection is worth the price tag in my opinion.

That is what I expect as well. I'm sure the Fuzion will outlast but one of the other things I am testing is to see how well these waxes last applied over the Ultima Paint Prep Plus. I polished the hood and part of the side with WFG but lightly polished (cleaned) the whole car with the Ultima PPP. I know the UPGP will last forever with that but am curious to see how well the Wax bonds to it. Also curious to see if there is any difference in dust and pollen buildup between these 3 products.
I loved the application, smell, and removal of both waxes.

Thanks Tad, I am going to apply some Fusion over the top of the 3 layers of UPGP I have on Skybaby. Probably next weekend.

Ahhhh, that's the problem. I didn't see the UPGP in the title. Oops! Duh, my bad!

Here are some pictures after 1 day.
The waxes held onto more pollen and dust then the Ultima Sealant.

Interesting post, thanks for taking the time to document this. I like UPGP certainly leaves a nice wet appearance and very easy to apply. Durability and slickness did not disappear after a couple of weeks like with jetseal 109.

I love the UPGP and can tell you on a garaged vehicle it will still bead 9+ months if applied correctly after UPPP. Washing it every other week and sssuming you don't drive in the rain, sleet, and snow of course. Of course I think it's probably not protecting to well by that point. How does anybody know for sure... I've just started experimenting with the waxes and really love them. The two listed in this thread are very easy to apply and remove and the Natty's you can apply in the sun with no problem which I did. Not sure about applying the Fuzion in the sun. Anyway I expected the wax to hold more pollen and dust then the sealant but I didn't expect it to be that noticeable after 1 day. This car was not sitting still and did drive quite a way to my Mother in laws and back. I would think that works 2 different ways. On one hand it saw a lot more dust etc. On the other hand at highway speeds any that was loose should have blown off. What you see here for the "dust pictures" were taken just after getting back home a few minutes from being off the freeway.
I think sitting still the whole day the pollen/dust would have looked more similar. But because of the driving the sealant released most of it compared to the wax which did not.

Edit:
Actually after I wrote what is written above I remembered I did actually look at the vehicle while at my mother in laws and it was sitting there for awhile. I did notice a fair difference their allthough it was not as drastic as it was when I shot the pics after the highway drive back.

Wow nice.

I'm quite surprised by the difference, I didn't expect it to be that noticeable, I wanna get some UPGP now, as I know how good their interior products are, I'm sure the Paint Guard Plus will be just as stunning.
