Since Global Warming has reached Western NY State with temperatures in the 80's this weekend, here's the token plan for the Corvette Spring Clean-up, since it's sat in the garage most of the last 4 months (except for the occasionally warm/dry/sunny day in January and now March->April).

The car was clean and waxed when it went into the garage in November, so it's basically "dusty" with a very slight amount of road grime.

The plan - What Do You think?? :buffing:

> Wash- Optimum Car Wash, Gilmore Foam Master plus two buckets, Grit Guards and Lake Red Sponge & MF mitt (or, I could just use ONR....but what the heck, it's 80F!! :)

> Dry w/AG Guzzler Towels & Optimum Instant Detailer

> Wheel Wells w/ Optimum Power Clean/ diluted; 32oz. sprayer
> Wheels with DP Wheel Cleaner; sprayed on + Speedway wheel brush and Corvette sponge lug brush
> Wheels coated with DP Wheel Glaze
> Tires coated with Optimum Opti-bond or Optimum Tire Shine, depending on my mood! Opti-Bond applied right out of the bottle with a tire sponge or shot from an HVLP spray gun

> Exterior- Final coat of Optimum Spray Wax (given the underlying protection) with AG MF Gray 530 and Gold MF towels

> Interior - Clean hard surfaces with DP Interior Cleaner, then application of Optimum Leather Interior product on dash, doors and leather surfaces. Use 303 where necessary. Vacuum carpets and dust as required.....no carpet cleaning needed.

> Glass - Stoner's Invisible Glass plus AG MF glass towels. Polycarbonate roof - DP Plex-All

> Under the Hood - Optimum APC diluted, various brushes, including Speedway flexible brush, along with 303 Protectant, Opti-Bond, etc. for plastic and rubber products

No correction needed in this go round. Will keep the Opti-Seal, Poli-Seal, et. al. in the bag.

Sound like a plan for the Millennium Yellow "Vette??

Thx.
