I am selling my car and it is black. I've used detailers before and they did a great job. However, I'd like to keep my cost low now that I am selling it. The car is black and has fine swirls in the clearcoat. There is also a bit of haze on hood.

What product should I purchase that would give me great results without an orbital? I realize I won't get the same result by hand, but I'm hoping to give the black paint a deep rich color with depth.

Since the car is selling, I'd really like to spend under $35 or so for all the products I need to order.

Thank you everyone.

Meguiar's NXT (the liquid version) has micro polishes and fillers in it and will get you the look you are after. You will still see the swirls, but not as much. I would strongly suggest claying the car as well. A Clay Magic clay bar is about ten dollars at AutoZone. You can get it at the same time as the NXT. You will definitely be under $35 and it will look good for the new owner.

Anthony is correct.

NXT does a pretty good job of filling or masking swirls. Most people on discussion forums want to remove them but there's always good reasons to just want to mask them and move forward and selling a car is a common reason for this practice.

Here you go...
