Prestige Auto Detailing: 2008 Mazda 3s Grand Touring Hatchback

Well, I FINALLY had a chance to clean up my own vehicle. My 2008 Mazda 3s Grand Touring Hatchback. It has been months since I was able to clean my own vehicle. I’m sure each of you know that when you detail vehicles, your own vehicle gets put on the side. LOL I also needed my car looking correctly since there will be a road racing event at the County Airport very close to the Gulf of Mexico & South Padre Island. Our temp outside this afternoon was over 90 °F.

I thought I had all of the pictures taken that I needed. Wrong….. ugh… I will take them this evening or sometime on Saturday at the event. My 3s is very nice and clean.

Great job on your car!
That is one clean engine. I'm afraid to do the same on mine! :( Everything was done by hand or you also used water ?

I just spray Amazing Roll-Off onto the engine and use a Daytona brush. After I finish scrubbing and things, I rinse it with my high pressure water maching that I bought from Home Depot. After the engine is rinsed, I start the vehicle to make sure everything runs normally. After that, I then spray down the engine with Stoners More Shine. Start the engine once again and let it run for a few minutes. After the vehicle is done being cleaned, I will open the hood once again and wipe all of the wet areas to make it shine like new.

My Mazda has a lil over 28k miles on it. It's almost 2 years old.

Well, I did not get a chance to work on my Mazda today. I ended up going to the Porsche Racing event at a county airport.

Well, when I walk into the state center this morning, I know many of the residents/cliets will be running up to me all day long. They were so happy to see such an event, even though there were out there for less than a hour.

Ok cool quite simple.
You don't have to cover/protect parts of the motor while you use the pressure washer machine?

And :xyxthumbs: to the Porsche GT3 RS. I looove that car especially when it's pulled by a Porsche Cayenne.

Well, it depends on what type of vehicle you are detailing. Also, the age of the vehicle. My client with a 1989 Jaguar XJS Convertible, with only 14.5k miles on it, I did NOT USE my HPW. I used my steamer to detail the engine. I just have not had a chance to post the pictures since the Jag is not done. I did the engine over 3 weeks ago. The driver side window motor went bad, so, it took me a week to find a new one on ebay. The motor is suppose to arrive this week. Once I get the Jag back, I will take pics of everything and post it here on the AGO site.

NO. it was not me that messed up the motor. lol The same problem happened on the passenger side over two months ago. This Jag is an English nightmare. Everything on these English vehicles like to break. ugh...
