I've been using it for months now and I can say it's very easy to use (thin application makes a bit of difference), gives a very wet, reflective look and is as durable as anything else I've used. Slickness is up there, but not as slick as Wolfgang or Four Star. Hope this helps....if anyone has any questions regarding the sealant I'll be glad to help out.

Sorry to high jack your thread but was wondering how would this compare to Menz Power Lock?

Haven't compared them directly. I only got to test out Power Lock on a small panel. Ease of use was very similar, Power Lock was a touch slicker. Couldn't really see a difference in looks, but I'm willing to bet this new DP sealant's durability will blow it out of the water.

It is definitely a great value - one of the better ones out there when you figure cost per ounce for such a durable sealant.

With that said, it's not in the same league as a product like Wolfgang DGPS (I've noticed a few people comparing the two). It's like comparing Toyota to Lexus (maybe I should say Honda and Acura instead, in light of recent recalls? :laughing:)....Toyota is one of the best on the market at a great price point, but Lexus takes it to another level in terms of quality, bells and whistles, etc. This new DP sealant is quick and easy to use with great durability, but Wolfgang is still on another level in terms of warmth/wetness, overall ease of use and durability is still up there as well.

With that said, you really cannot go wrong with either product - it just boils down to what you're after. Use DP on your daily drivers where durability is a main priority, and save Wolfgang for your garage queen. :props:

Is this sealant the same as others on waiting 12 hours before applying wax? or can you apply wax after you buff it off?

As with *most* sealants, it's a good idea to wait at least 12 hours before topping it with a pure wax.

As far as buffing the sealant off, it only takes 2-3 minutes for the sealant to flash after applying, making it nearly a wipe-on-wipe-off kinda deal.

I strongly urge anyone to try Poli Coat topped with Max Wax if you're really looking for some "bang for your buck". At just under $50 this combo really can't be beat. :props:
