Nevr-Dull wadding polish is a good place to start.

Mothers and Griots make a nice dedicated chrome polish.

never-dull is a decent start but if there's any tar it takes some work. mothers works quite well with 0000steel wool but i just got me some collinite and it's very nice:props:

I have been using Mother's Chrome polish on my car and all my details and it has never let me down. I use it on glass to remove water spots on occassion as well, simply put it is easy to use and leaves a great finish with some impressive cleaning/cutting ability.

I use #0000 steel wool on chrome followed with Meguiars Chrome polish, NXT all metal polish is good as well

It's very, very hard to beat S100 metal polish which is usually available OTC at Harley dealerships.

Never Dull and Griot's Chrome Polish are great. For aluminum I like Mequiar's Mag Wheel Polish.

Not many quality OTC chrome polishes out there. I'd go with Mother's.

I use Hollywood Shine. Easy on easy off. With no effort.
